Starting from March 2008 DISHA has set
up 15 Alternative Education Centres with 631 out of school children. A
baseline survey was undertaken to assess the learner achievement levels.
Instructors received training of five days in the programmatic aspects
and prepared the curriculum, syllabus, TLM was prepared according to the
specific learning objectives indicated in the lesson plan.

The project team formed nine parents committees. Training was held in creative drama and children’s theatre groups were made who gave presentation of the theme of education. |
