The project focuses on ensuring quality primary education for 3500 vulnerable children of the Mayapuri Industrial area, Nangal Raya and Delhi Cantonment area through a right-based approach. The project will help to increase enrolment, attendance, retention and learning in the formal primary s chool system with the active participation of the community. DISHA will use innovative pedagogy for bringing out the creative expressions of children and making learning more child-centered, will build capacities of teachers, staff, students and volunteers, and train children in productive skills.
