From January 2009, DISHA is partnering with GiveIndia for implementing the ‘Read to Lead Campaign’ supported by ICICI Foundation for Inclusive Growth for one year till December 2009. DISHA is working with 4010 disadvantaged children mainstreamed by us in the formal schools in west district in Delhi and government schools in Bodhgaya block in Gaya district, Bihar. There are 3092 children studying in fourteen formals schools in Delhi while in Bihar there are 918 rural children studying in ten government schools in Bodhgaya block of Gaya district. DISHA has set up 40 AECs set up by DISHA in the project area.
